GC reward crates [MERGE]

How do u open those reward crates? They say i received them but havent got any shards. I checked my death trooper shards and i didnt get any.

Waiting isn’t that big of a deal...but why change it? Obviously, there is something behind them making us wait but I can’t see it. It just more nonsense that they seem to keep adding to...totally unnecessary.
