GCs, Coliseum, and Era leveling
This is insane that you guys really released this bs. Firstly I don't even care about relic delta, I haven't had issues with it. Yeah my r3 wampa failed against full r7 jabba this morning. Boo hoo I am 11.6m GP I can gear up wampa a bit if I want to keep doing that counter.
Removing GCs for no reason at all? Who asked for this? 0 people. I just geared up my saw and luthen today and wanted to go test them out in the GC like usual, but nope I just can't. Will have to wait an entire week. To use them 3 times in GAC. Thanks CG that was a terrible choice. How much effort did it take for you to release a new GC? Like 5 minutes probably. Do you really want to drive down time spent in game? When I was bored I used to hop onto swgoh and use all my teams against the current GC. Never again I guess.
New marquee structure is awful. I am k2 rank 1 fleet and get tons of crystals. So technically I could spend them all to get era levels on each new marquee. I don't want to do this. I need to do refreshes and buy zetas because that economy is still broken. Before as a f2p we could pick and choose which characters to focus on using the new gearing system and relic low star characters on day 1. I have spent years farming kyros and signal data/relic mats so that I can quickly gear new stuff I am interested in. Now we have to wait 3 months because...??? And even if you pay the $400 like ahnald, you can't even use these characters in other gamemodes. Who tf is going to do this? Might as well wait the 3 months and get the character for free, it will be almost exactly the same.
I shouldn't even say f2p. I am not f2p at all. I've spent hundreds over the years. Of course that is ending until further notice. But I am not a super whale who is able to buy all of the new marquees and that accounts for 99% of players. Not to mention that you just made buying new releases significantly more expensive. Lol
The biggest issue is that if you don't invest thousands of crystals into the new release you literally cannot play coliseum. I guess you guys claim that over time we will level all of the marquees about equally but that means that for weeks/months at the start of each era f2p cannot play coliseum. And no just because I can start a battle and get instantly destroyed dealing <50 damage for 10% of rank 1 does not mean I actually get to interact with the gamemode. 4+ years of playing btw. I shouldn't have to use g2-3 characters or level 1 abilities ever. This is ridiculous.
No mods on luke also. Why is this? Just another way to punish long time players. We spend all this time and effort building up a mod collection just for it to become useless in the newest gamemode. Mods are such a cool aspect of this game too. Great way to customize your roster and get an edge even on spenders. Guess not anymore lmao
I love(d) this game, been playing it for years. Love the strategy aspect, even enjoy datacrons, but this update may have actually killed all of my enjoyment for it. Legitimately considering quitting. I couldn't have imagined that even a week ago. I play(ed) this game so much that I've even found and reported multiple bugs that you guys went on to fix. I could hardly get myself to log on this morning.
Do better CG. This is abysmal. I hope you understand why.
