Gear 13 grievous potential in STR

First off, you're not running the most efficient revan team. Ezra should be replaced by hermit Yoda, so I'm not surprised your grevious team is scoring better than your revan team.

Second, tier 7 always results in lower damage numbers than tier 6. So, although I cannot test your team myself (no G13 grevious and my seperatists still need either gear or stars), my guess is that it'd be able to do 2-3 mil at best based on your tier 6 score.

On a side note, revan teams are also much better suited for phase 2. I'd suggest a JTR team for phase 1. Much higher damage potential. ?

Managing 2-3 mil on a P1 hSith team is still a good team. Especially since there are so few good P1 teams. If you're prepping Grievous for Padme and Geonosis TB anyways, it can be useful to get a multimillion P1 hSith team out of what you're investing in anyway.

That it's not as good as JTR doesn't mean it isn't useful.

for my teams i use hermit yoda with my JTR currently as most of my resistence isnt geared up enough and they don't have a good healer. plus for my JTR actually scores the worst of my 4 squads i use for phase 1

Revan- 5.1 million
Padme- 4.7 million
JTR- 4.1 million
Grievous- 5.8 million ( fun observation grievous did almost all the damage single handedly and basically did the same damage as the whole revan team)

i know he is better in phase 2, but since roster refresh was in like 5 hours and phase 1 and 2 generally finish within one day for my guild i just threw them in anyway to get a high reward area (since i have bad phase 3 and 4 teams imo...).

You are obviously doing something wrong with JTR. JTR team don't even need a healer, most damage is mitigated by foresight and health steal if played right. And if you are using Finn then he can heal if things go wrong.

Of course if you already have Grievous you can use him. But the real question is - which phase. If you still trying to beat heroic your guild should see which phase is the main bottleneck and think how to make a way around it, it's not a decision you should do purely by yourself.

While my GG's solid, I'm missing a lot of the pieces/parts, so this run wasn't great, but it may be proof of concept that a Grievous team will probably at least manage his 2% once properly built up.

Not stellar, but may be something. And considering how few good P1 teams there are, that means something.

Exploit the adds for a speed boost that spreads to Nihilus and gets that to stick and mitigate his actions a little bit more, and a lot of Grievous' lead is pretty much negated by the overwhelming/stacking tenacity. Maybe GG lead would serve better. This was just giving it a bash with what I had.
