I also don't understand why anyone would spend money on this game when it has gotten significantly worst over the last four months. Don't reward bad behavior.
I haven't spent anything in the last 2 months and won't until something positive changes. This game is way too grindy, and the developers are ignoring our issues playing their game. And if things stay the way they are, it'll be easy for me to walk away when I've hit my limit (which I feel is getting close).
For years the meme metric was "spin time", because we had nothing to use our characters for. They responded and added things to do in game and now it's "too time consuming". There is literally not a "win" scenario as different players want different things.
They've improved gear economy by vast amounts. Farming for a character's gear has never been easier. Farming for character shards was improved via acceleration. The pre-req's for GL's lately have been walking you into meta teams you're going to want / need. That's a kindness that was unnecessary.
If your idea of "fixed" is a new character leveled and geared in a week, for free, and with no effort; you're going to be unhappy and should find a new genre of games. That's not being mean, that's being real. It's not happening.
As a Day 1 player, I think they've made tremendous improvements and I'm excited about actually having new characters to CHOOSE between gearing. I've not had choices in a long time, it's good to see things to farm again.
