The daily Challenges should give random gear or address pieces of gear like purple Stun Cuffs that are needed a lot, but are difficult to obtain. For those purples I get drop rates between 1 in 10 and 1 in 18 approximately, and when you need 50 of those and 50 of other purples to make a single piece of gear it takes forever. I have some pieces of purple gear where I have 3 or 400+ of because of challenges, and then they aren't as needed by characters as some others are.
