They have no plans to touch this, ever. The gear crunch has been accelerated at every opportunity. We are at 700 kyros, 300 guns, 250 cuffs and carbantis per GL and about half that for everything else. Throw in r9 very soon and it shouldn't even be a question. The crunch will continue to get worse not better, and that is exactly what the developers intend.
