General Grievous Rework idea

General Grievous: Dark Side, Droid, Seperatist, Attacker
Furious Assault: Deal damage to enemy and inflict defense down for 2 turns. If all enemies are debuffed, this deals double damage and cannot be evaded nor countered.

Grievous Wounds: Deal damage to all enemies with a 65% chance of inflicting healing immunity for 3 turns and a 50% chance to inflict expose for 2 turns, which cannot be resisted. This deals 50% more damage to Jedi. If this attack defeats an enemy, he dispelled all debuffs on himself, gains offense up and 100% turn meter, and the cooldown of this ability is reset.

Sinister Laugh: Dispel all buffs on all enemies and inflict health down for 2 turns. This cannot be evaded or resisted. This has a 75% chance to remove 50% turn meter and to inflict expose. If any enemies are defeated, grant all allies speed up for 2 turns and inflict deathmark on the target enemy for 2 turns.

Daunting Presence: All allies have 25% offense and +30 armor penetration. Whenever an exposed enemy takes damage, Separatist allies gain 20% turn meter and have a 75% chance to recover 10% health and gain offense up for 1 turn. While General Grievous is active, all enemies have -20% critical damage, -20% critical chance, -20% counter chance, and Droid allies are immune to Plague.

Tactical Retreat: General Grievous gains 10% max health, potency, and critical damage for each living droid ally (halved for defeated droid allies). Whenever he falls below 50% health, he dispels all debuffs on all Droid and Separatist allies, gains 100% turn meter and heal over time, and stealth for 4 turns. The ally with the most amount of health gains taunt, max health up (30%), and heal over time for 2 turns. Both have their cooldowns reset.

  • I like grievous... but hate his leader ability. It is so generic it is useful, but so generic it doesnt help your allies. I would like if grievous gave +30 speed, +15% offense, and +10% evasion/crit avoidance. The sinister laugh ability doesnt naje much sense as you described it. Does the deathmark only proc if there are defeated enemies? The way it sounds is that it deals damage, which it does not.

    I think grievous should have an ability called "Lightsaber Master" where he does bonus damage/ has counter chance/ increased evasion etc; vs lightsaber wielding opponents. Give him extra viability vs jedi, cls, and jtr

  • I hate making characters immune to things, or attacks that can’t be resisted/dodged/etc. I agree that it makes sense for droids to counter plague though. Having a healing unique does that though. I’d rather strengthen that instead of a flat out immunity.
