Geonosians

They are trying to entice/reward people to invest in these teams.

That may be the intention, but all they are succeeding in doing is putting most of my guild off TW.

I'm happy that my g11 poggle and 3 other g12 geos can wreck havoc this tw

Id prefer a less op buff to some squads and units just to make them viable against meta teams... But those out of controll buffs removes a lot of fun in TW...
When u just face a wall of clones in tw its pretty much lose to us cuz not to much of our guild have them... Still 2nd place rewards are fine xD

About the buff, for those that have used it, if my Geonosians are hypothetically all faster than the enemy team, that means that my 4th Genosian to get a turn can use the special ability?

Well, they have no use outside of tw, so it's not much of an investment. From what people are saying, you have to use clone troopers to beat them. My troopers aren't leveled or geared, so i can't give any opinion on that. TW bonuses should make it harder to beat teams, but not darned near impossible. The cooldown meter is the issue. triggering this every 4 combined turns is lunacy.

It’s just dumb. All these buffs do is make tw miserable. They completely ruined the best part of this game. I don’t just mean geos. Making squads of unused characters op is just not fun. The planning it takes us officers and the amount of time you have to invest in tw is off the charts. I don’t think the amount of money they think people are going to spend gearing these otherwise unused squads is going to make up for the amount of money they are going to lose from people quitting the game.

It isn't as bad as the ewoks were. It isn't as bad as mace windu soloing sith teams. It isn't as bad as the clone teams. This is actually the most interesting one we have had so far.

A lot of people have geos geared up for ships (they’re awesome on offense, even against han’s Falcon)...so I kind of dig that they have a use for once.
