GEOTB: Will it fracture guilds?

Geo 100%. The new currency makes it a no-brainer imo.

No talks here, nobody has suggested not doing Geo.

New content often disrupts guilds as people move on to those that fit them better or can complete the higher end content. Same thing with tank and sith raids when they came out. I guess there might wind up being guilds full of people that could do Geo but would rather not, but I think it’s more likely people just leave guilds that are getting a few stars for those doing better.

To OP: yes, it will fracture guilds. You can't find 50 people who want to play at the exact same pace. Somebody always wants to go faster. New end-game content always brings about a change. It happened shortly after HAAT was released, then it happened after HSTR, now it's going to happen again.

I personally wouldn't recommend GeoTB with anything less than 160M and at least 45+ active people. It is doable with less GP and fewer people, but you'll get better rewards out of Hoth and you'll get them easier.

We are a 210M guild and we got 26 stars. Rewards were OK. Not a complete trash, but nothing spectacular, either. I don't have a screenshot handy, but we didn't get any full pieces and we got *maybe* two pieces worth of various GL12 salvage. Crystals were similar to Hoth TB, less GEC. New GEC2 is nice to have, but nobody is spending it right now anyway.

We have 152m and got 14 stars. I'd much rather get 14 stars here than the 40-42 we were getting in Hoth.

If it has to be negotiated, then the guild is not ready for negotiator.

10* here in a 120m GP guild and weve decided to do full GEO

Despite all the guild chat along the lines of "This is impossible!" and "WTH, 0/4 with a G12 team in P4?!" while the TB was running, everyone seemed very enthusiastic about going at it again, which definitely wasn't the vibe I was getting :) We had one member pack it in, but gained a couple more. New content always stirs things up a bit, but without it a lot more players would quit.
