Get1 & Get2 are destroying the game

Allright, I want to highlight in this post my point if view about the recent changes and more and more toons/ships which have to be bought with get:

It was allways an achievement to take beat any legendary/hero journey on the first go.
Focused farming and gearing was required. With gear 13 and relics obviously those events get even more difficult.

But what is really a slap in the face is that you now can unlock the well deserved toon or ship just at 5☆

Also if the malevolence is also going to the get2 shop (same like negotiator) - this would be just redicioulos. It is allready a stretch with malak and gas.

I can understand the politics behind:
Give the people no chance of farming gear through that shop.

But this is simply just the wrong way. I understand that we are playing a grinding game and I love it. But waiting each time 2 weeks to be able to by 15 shards of a toon or ship I put in great effort to get it, doesn't feel rewarding at all.

Reconsider that current strategy please!

  • Just keep hoarding...maybe they can add a banking system and stock market system where we can invest in blue milk or some s**t and get some dividends.

Or maybe a gambling system where we could play the odds if the next malak event will work as intended...that would be fun

Small guilds are starving while huge guilds (full of whales) have the upper hand in everything in this game.

It's become harder and harder F2P to be competitive.

Everything CG release the cashers buy immediately, making a larger abyss between them and the F2P.

Both CG and whales: you, guys are murdering the game and drain all the fun of playing it.

In the context of this thread (GET) this post makes absolutely no sense. Ironically GET is one of the only currencies (and in fact, one of the only "things") in the game that is NOT monetized. You can't "speed" up GET acquisition significantly. Sure being, in a stronger guild can yield a few more. Yes, being in a larger guild (45-50) that can put up more stars in TB helps as well. But very little of that has to do with money. Guild size is simply a function of what guild you choose to be in - there are many f2p guilds that are "large" (45-50) - and many of them, especially those with long time players are getting in the mid 20s in terms of Geo TB stars. If the top "whale" guilds are pulling down 30 stars or so, that's only a few hundred GET difference.

Yes, people that pay to support the game have an advantage - that's by design, otherwise, why would they pay?

All of that said, GET is a "playwall" currency, not a "paywall" one. And you know how you can tell? Look at some of the people complaining the most about GET as the way to star up Malak and GAS (hint: it's the whales, not the f2p).

TL;DR - GET as a way of "gating" progress is not a f2p v. whales issue.

Yes and no. GET can only be accumulated through playing, yes. However, it's theoretically "easier" for a whale to save their GET than a f2p, because a whale can simply purchase gear instead of spending GET on it. I had plenty of GET saved for GAS, but that was at the price of foregoing lots of gear. There are a couple of heavy spenders in my guild who had the GET saved for GAS, but they forewent no gear; they just bought it instead.

    Hoarders don't worry about this.

Sure we do. We think about how we'd like to gear X, but can't, because we have to hoard the things that would allow us to gear X. We also worry about whether or not we've hoarded enough.
