Love this idea. Add a GR tank to the game as well (or make clone sergeant have a tank ability not just reinforcement) so that Hounds Tooth goes with Hondo. Would give Hondo a strange jedi synergy too

A fair amount of people use it. At a higher star count, it is amazing. Put with HT for arena, or on defence for GAC- He should be in the game, definitely. But as a normal character in my opinion.
