Sigh, really dude? That is your response? I would think by my statement that I play the game religiously that would automatically denote that I obviously know how events and notifications work. ;)
The fact of the matter is that I and others did not get another join notification on screen after the first GA, actually the 2nd one since the first one was bugged. Seeing some others post on here that they had similar issues,confirms for me that there is definitely an intermittent issue.
