U can get about 3700 more or less points than your competition over a GAC based on how many battles the game decides you get to do. This is caused by cross division matchmaking but cross division would be ok as long as the number of battles did not change.
Currently someone in division 5 can get extra points by being matched vs div 3 or 4 therefore winning the rng draw. Cg gives them 450 extra points (vs others in div 5) on defense and offense over the 3 rounds of GA if they go undefeated.
Or sometimes (based on the difference in GP) the game defaults to the div 5 player's number of defenses. in that case the opponent from div 3 or 4 gets penalized because they get 450 less max points (vs others in div 3 or 4) for winning their GA if they go undefeated.
The point difference grows to 925 per GA when battles change from 6 to 8 instead of 5 to 6 at mid level divisions.
