Grand Arena Championships – GP Divisions [MEGA]

Exactly same gp as you. Matchmaking on further parameters doesn't look in effects and beyond gp it looks as random as it was on GA.

Different squad number in division makes weaker players behind in number of 180 points per round that makes 540 points per GA that makes 2160 points difference per championship, that's wrong, there should be equal chances in same division

What are you complaining about. You have revan and he does not. Set it on defence in the territory with two squads, put trash in all your other territories and keep everyone else for offense. Sick of all these complaints.

As for everyone else who are versing different divisions (as I am). I assume this goes with the improvement in matchmaking, you might be in div 4 because of your gp but you might have only 1 g12 so being matched with a person in div 5 is fair and I'm pretty sure when this happens you only have to set squads that match up with the lowest division.

I agree, players with higher Numbers of squads that are required for setting defence get extra 180 points per round + possibility to get another +/- 120 during attack phase. This is not an equal chance to win the champioship, i think it is even impossible. This should be changed.

I agree--number of squads needs to be consistent per division for it to be fair. It's not fair if people who use fleets lose out ~1000 banners because they can't set as many squads. Each division should have the same chances of getting banners for it to be a fair competition. If that means you need more divisions, so some higher GP people will deploy less squads, then do so.

I would hope this is exactly the kind of issue/bug that they'll fix after this exhibition round :/

This is very big issue!
Division 2 and 3 are mixed in GA battles.

Im in D2, and on GA fighting with G3.
As a result, I get "540 Lifetime" for setting DEF (max 6 teams), while many in Division 2 have "720 Lifetime" (8 teams).

As a result, I will NEVER even be in the top 1000.

At first I thought that was something that needed fixing but the more I think about it the more reasonable it is.my situation for example, I am just barely in division one. If all I faced were other division 1 players, everybody would have a higher GP than me. at least this way there's a better chance I will have some even matches or God forbid enjoy an advantage once in awhile.

Given that there's also a ship zone, that's whom you'll be facing though.

You're wrong.
If you face an opponent from another division (lower) you automatically get LESS points, than people from your division fighting with people from the same division.

In this event, it's all about getting points and getting promoted to higher leagues. If you have fewer points then you have less chance of promotion, and this is synonymous with BORROWER prizes.

No you don't have less chance. What you lose from setting defences can be made up in winning on offence. If you set 8 but have no chance of beating a squad, overall you'll lose points compared to setting 6 on defence and actually have a chance of beat squads, winning territories and winning the match up. Think of the big picture......
