I'm not asking for them to be f2p farmable, but at this point there is no way to get these characters even from Chromiums.
I believe the plan was for these characters to be farmed in tournaments and we all know how that worked out. Just looking for an update on the plan for them since the tournaments have stopped.
I understand, there was no character that was in more then 2 tournaments, but maybe that was the plan.
They made no claims to have a plan, and have not ever made "long term" announcements about things like this... I hope they do but I doubt it.
This is the biggest issue with the game right now. There are numerous characters and ships that you can release, or have shards for and have absolutely no idea when or if you can continue to farm them.
The new "Attack Pack" is another example. You can release either a 4* Tie Advanced or 3* Tie Reaver. You can't farm either ship - nor has there been any indication when, if or how you'll be able to. Also, if you happen to release the Reaver, you need Deathtrooper as a pilot. You might have him released, but you can't farm him anywhere - nor do you know when, how or if you will be able to in the future.
That's why posting 3k crystals for the pack makes no sense. Why buy a pack that's a dead end? Or could (likely) just lead to being forced to buy more packs to star things up.
