Ground War

well if makes you feel any better i have maxed ewoks and maxed ugnaught and still cant beat Tier 1..... all with 5* mods, the event is ridiculously hard, they need to rework at least Tier 1 there turn meter and protection is beyond stupid.

Wow, that's a bit messed up! But even to get in and see that they're way powerful is better than looking at it and saying "oh darn, didn't know it was Ewoks..."

well they do actually you goitta click the little i in corner of the event and does tell you who is required.

they dont exactly explain that to people but yeah lol.

After the event has started, yes. Prior to the event starting, though, the only thing that gives is the Recommended Level and a brief description.

thats not true, go look at the marquee events that havent started they have the i there as well.

it just so happens marqeee is everyone so that doesnt say you need xyz

This is also not the first release of the ground war...it was also advertised before the first launch. Plenty of warning was given. Enough even, for me to upgrade my squad that hadn't yet been unlocked when the first ground war was unleashed.

I'm gonna have to say this isn't true. Omega Battles: Hoth is now visible in the Events section and hitting the (i) says "Special Limited Time Event! Battle for Credits and ability materials, including rare Omega Materials!"
Nothing there about which toons or factions are or are not usable in this event. However, when we look over announcements here on the forums it says that Sith and Droids are the usable factions. So clearly, the events are not displaying the faction information ahead of time.

That really doesn't matter, since the announcements and past information are here on the forums. All you're really saying, then, is that the game can't stand on its own.

In this case, it did tell you which toons beforehand, under the 'i'. But, for whatever reason, the Omega battles never say. idk why, it really should tell you since they change for every Omega event pretty much.
