Why you keep calling this F2P friendly move ? What does it have to do with the planning of a guild when to have it`s Guild activities reseted ? Then all the players out there /F2P or Whales/ can just find a guild with convinient for them time of Guild activities reset and join it.
The problem noted here is that guilds were planning according to the most logical assumption that the guild resets will be at same time as the normal activities resets, choosing the exact time for when this will happen , according to the only important factor - Guild activities shouldn`t reset when Half or Whole the guild is SLEEPING in the middle of the night...
Encourage all the guildies to be at similar time zone ? So we make this game now Europe vs USA or what ? Don`t think so ... But lets say you are right and 50 Usa close time members who work the same job and have same lunch time decided the best time for them all to get Guild activities reseted early in their morning lets say 10.am ... So they create account at some Europe timezone , assuming that at this account guild activities reset at 12 a.m. and calculating for them it will be 10.a.m. They create the guild and suddenly they appear to get their activities reset 6 hours earlier .. at 4 a.m. when they are all sleeping ... This has nothing to do with F2P friendly , it is about missinforming about an important thing , which made a mess for those who planned and build their strategy ..
