To me I just get a vibe similar to the "hack-a-shaq" philosophy in basketball. Consistently fouling the worst free throw shooter and forcing him to go to the line.

Is that how Naismith envisioned basketball to be played? No. Is it within the rules of the game? Yes. Does it zap the fun out of the game? For many people, perhaps. But I would never be mad at a coach or a team for implementing this strategy. IF I had a problem with anyone, it would be with the commissioner for not addressing the matter.

Same thing with guild hopping.
