Don't worry guys, I addressed your points in a lengthy post in the middle of page 11. That last bit was directed at the guy talking about how people with no life (ie, lots of free time) were working the system.
I read your 5 point discussion on page 11 and it might as well be a 1 point discussion saying "exploiting101".
your argument isnt incorrect but to try to sum it up into just exploiting is wrong because that turns these concerns into a matter of opinion Because what is and isn't exploiting is subjective. I believe (now this is my opinion) everyone knows this is not right, everyone... The ones against it, obviously.. But also the ones for it (the small vocal crowd). they like to play devil advocate on this issue so they can continue taking advantage, where others can't, or won't..
Now I believe this is an accurate statement-
The issue is that 90% or so of the community is not guild hopping. the few that guild hopping are gaining a substantial advantage by doing so. Because this is a competitive game that some spend lots of money on, such a window changes (dare I say ruins) the integrity of the game and will ultimately end negatively for everyone involved. This will lead to less profit for EA/CG (I have already stopped spending because no matter what I spend I won't compete with those doing twice as many raids getting exclusive gear) and also lead to people quiting because they can no longer compete or out of pure spite. So it really makes no sense to allow this to continue.
My opinion- The opportunists (see I didn't say exploiters) should be banned, or suspended for a week - to save the scraps that are left of this game.
