Guild Names with ?

It was in June, I believe, when guilds with non-Latin characters in names (Chinese, Greek, Cyrillic, etc..) got replaced with question marks. Topics where opened, bugs where reported and the answer was that the team is aware of the issue and working. OK.
Four months have passed since and the issue remains, and we haven't got any word of it. What happened? Will it be fixed? Can it be fixed? If not, can we at least get names changed to something with all Latin letters? Is there someone to contact?
PS: From a dev perspective - my guess that fix would probably involve restoring an old backup when names where good and running and update to live DB. There is no undo after messed collation.
