Guild store changes

The new changes to the guild store are so new player unfriendly. Taking players back to the carbanti grind era is honestly the most boring experience for players.

Fortunately Satele is my last character to take to relics and shes gear 11, but I'm looking at all the odd pieces I need to get just to get to the gear 12 grind and honestly fml...

Its such an unnecessary slow point to put blocks on. Nobody wants to spend 2.000+ currency on 125 pieces when you might need 50tops for 1/6th of a characters progression at gear 10. Raids happen weekly for most guilds, you earn 15k mark 1 currency and that might just be enough for you to progress 1 character out of over 300 from gear level 9 to 10?

You don't need to try and monetise every inch of this game.

  • Agreed. Recently I was on the lower end of MK I currency and needed about ten or so pieces of a gear piece for SEE...except everything is now in a bulk of 100 and costs upward of 1000 MK I, so now I've got 500 currency sitting there doing nothing until the next raid.

  • One idea would be to alternate between the bulk and the small amounts.  So, 2 of each per day.  That's if the reasoning behind doing this was to make life easier for players (as some prefer it).

I hear what you're saying, but that kind of proves the point. It might only be good for end game players that want mass amount material to scrap with loads of capped currency to spend.

If youre living raid to raid for currency to get the next character and its 1/300+ it's going to become a painfully slow journey.

Well look.....I'm an end game player (I guess) and for me, I agreed with pretty much everything you wrote.  I, like you, believe that it's another negative way to eek out more money.  You don't have the currency, you spend crystals, you don't have crystals, you spend money.

However, this exact topic came up a few days ago:

What’s the deal with raid store changes?? | EA Forums - 13310211

Some players pointed out that they liked the store changes.   It saves time and is easier manage.  As this is the case, I don't see why alternating between the 2 formats during the day wouldn't keep both camps happy.
