Spent over 60 pounds on this game and the rewards are dispicibally thin.

The purchases in this game are begging to feel like more than a scam. I have never had a gambling addiction but this game has now made me feel like I have one. If it's not that I cannot get parts to upgrade a charactor non of it works for free. I purchased the "chase" Luke Skywalker and chewbackas and other "chase" packs they claimed that they would help me unlock these charictors of course I didn't. I'm just stuck constantly on one part. And of course the literal only way to do this other than waiting months is to spend more money it's ridiculous. I have contacted ea support about this and even have proof of purchases with screenshots of what the packs say I'm planning to make a video on the unfairness of this game. Why because people have complained has it now become a cash grab it's way worse and honestly I'm finding myself loosing my mind over it.

Not to mention the fact there have been occasions where i have no even wanted to purchase some of these items they just pop up on the screen when I'm spamming after a match.

You guys are billionaires I just want you to fix the store and reimburse your customers equally.

I'm a few steps away loosing my mind over it my autism cure has now been turned into a money grab gamble.

I will unfortunately have to come away and seek support from gambling anomynous because of this problem (not even joking)

There are vanishingly few things in the store worth the money. The episode pass is nice, it gives a bunch of great loot. I don't know these packs you're talking about, but they were most likely not worth whatever you spent. Ask more experienced players before buying anything from the store. Those 60 pounds could have bought you episode passes to cover the entire next Era of the game.

Or, you know... arm yourself with some patience and just play the game, making incremental progress daily.

It hasn't "become" a cash grab, it's always been like this.
There's a reason so many people are f2p--the majority of the packs have historically had hardly any value for the money.
Don't get so hung up on needing to get everything quickly--I can tell you it will never end, and that's the point. Yes, it takes months and months for all the unlocks. It is always your decision to quit.

can you elaborate? what did those packs give you? what things are you stuck on? for all I know you could have bought packs that were intended to get you one part of the way and not the whole way

I purchased Chase packs they claim they will help you unlock characters but once investigated would have to buy lots of packs and for security reasons I obviously aren't going to show more information regarding the purchases it is a lot. I know and that's all that matters have a great day. You work for EA?

I moved to 100% F2P 2 to 3 months ago and have never enjoyed the game more.

I have no clue why CG doesn't make an in-game modding center that blows what they have out of the water. Instead they have __________________________________________________________________________________. Deleted so CG doesn't ban me.

Back to your gripe though, we here in the F2P world encourage you to come swim in our pool. Completing the episode feats that way actually make the game more of a challenge. For me, GAC IS THE GAME.
I was going to complain about TW, TB, and Conquest, but CG gets their feelings hurt when I'm honest with them about things and then bans me, so I deleted that.

If you're going to spend money on this game, only buy the light speed bundles dude. So many people say that the episode pass is the best value, but I strongly disagree. Save 2 months of episode passes for the right light speed bundle and boom, you've just added a team to your roster. All of this depends on the kind of player you want to be. If you hope to be a Kyber 1 player one day then you're going to have to do the game the way they manipulate you into doing it.

The thing that disappoints me most is how amazing this game could be, as compared to what they end up doing.

Yep! The only true way to win at this game is to spend nothing and enjoy the occasional squad victory.
