HAAT P3 F2P High DMG Squad?

So, for those that don't have Thrawn, CLS, or Chaze...I want to know if anyone has tried (or is willing to try) the following squad, which is a variant on the Chirpatine squad:

Chirpa (L)
Palpatine
Stormtrooper Han (Z)
Jyn
Ewok Elder/Tusken Shaman/Kanan

It seems like Stormtrooper Han's zeta has been overlooked here, as it provides him 5% protection back each time he takes damage and has a 25% chance to remove 10% turn meter from the B2.

So the idea would be that you set up Chirpatine as normal (shock the droids) and go to town. Each time the B2 counters he hits STHan charging TM for the other allies. Assuming the B2 does more than 5% of protection as damage (does he?) you can use Elder/Shaman to restore his health. Jyn will get fed enough turn meter from STHan to empty the turn meter on the B2 when needed, and simply rinse/repeat until the phase is over.

Is there something I'm missing or overlooked? Has anyone tried zeta STHan with Chirpatine?

  • @Faa Your entire quote makes me think you don't know how Chirpatine works...

    -What "taunt gap" are you referring to? STHan is literally taunting 100% of the time.
    -Ewok Elder and Kanan can cleanse Healing Immunity...
    -You need Chirpa to freeze time. Without Chirpa, if the B2 doesn't counter then Palpatine only has 90% TM.
    -Even IF Offense Down lands on Palpatine, it's two turns...out of like, literally hundreds. So what?
    -STHan's taunt has a 25% chance to remove 10% turn meter. Yes, it's RNG, but it helps slow down the B2

    You don't have to create an infinite loop, just do enough damage before Enrage. Jyn is the most reliable F2P TM removal in the game, and you would easily extend the battle by an extra 6 or 7 turns.

    Im interested to see how this worked out for u. Any updates?cuz like faa said in his post i dont see ur elder or kanan ever getting a turn cuz once all the droids are stunned an pap is going to town ur lucky if ur other chars get one more turn thru out the battle. Pls update us on how this worked out for u

    I don't have the zeta on STHan, or a high enough Jyn or Kanan to try this out unfortunately. Maybe @CestLaPLS has an update?

    When I've run Elder in NAAT under Chirpatine, he gets plenty of turns because of the TM feed from STHan, plus +20% from Chirpa's lead, plus Chirpa able to call his assist to feed turn meter to other allies. I think at this point, there are only two questions:

    1. Can zeta STHan survive counter attacks from the B2?
    2. Can Jyn remove enough turns before enrage to solo the entire phase?

    Even if the answer to either (or both) of these is no, I still see a TON of damage from this F2P squad...
  • If you want a possible solo team, Use Teebo Lead, CLS, Jyn, R2, and Chirrut. Keep Jyn and Teebo alive and you can possibly solo. I have seen 70% done with this team, and the person running it still had six turns until enrage. He wasn't able to start until 30% of P3 was already gone.

    Did you run G8 Jyn w/o potency? Because that is a HUGE problem. Also, G7/8 Lvl 75 is clearly going to get wrecked in HAAT, so I'd say this theory is still very much alive, especially with no Zeta on STHan.

    CLS and R2 aren't what I'd call F2P...I mean, TECHNICALLY they are, but... ;)

    Grand Thrawnpatine can solo the phase no problem if we are going that route.
