haat ready?

Is guild ready for haat when normal aat is finished without refresh?

  • No, a guild is ready when you have enough teams to deal enough damage.
With that being said, nobody can tell you if you're HAAT ready. The only way to find out is to experiment. See how far you go.
  • You're ready when you have enough players who are each capable of doing an equal share of the damage across the entire health pool of the HAAT raid, or you have enough players with extremely overachieving squads (probably specialized for certain phases) that are able to compensate for the shortcomings of their guildmates.

It's difficult to judge HAAT readiness based only on AAT performance. The only sure way to find out whether your guild is ready... is to play it. If you have doubts, look for guides explaining which squads are the most effective for each HAAT phase, then survey your guild members' collections and see if they have what the guild might need.
  • Let me ask a more specific question along the same lines as the OP:

    • How much does it matter that my Zader, Shaman, Phasma, Boba, Sidious does not have a Zidious?
    • How much does it matter that my Princess Cody squad doesn't have a Zody? And some clones are G8
    • How much does it matter that my Resistance are G8?

These teams rip up AAT to the tune of 20-25M damage. But all the YouTubes I've seen of them in HAAT suggest that Sidious won't land dots and I won't be able to topple, that the clones don't get enough regen from just Echo, and that Resistance won't output enough damage.

Based on our guild composition right now, I'm probably going to need to output massive damage. I'd rather not waste the raid tickets if we have no shot (b/c I don't have Zidious, Zody).

  • I don't think you have a shot. Sidious won't survive without his zeta, and neither will the clones without cody's. I haven't run resistance. It is also hugely dependent on mods.

We were clearing naat in a few hours before we tried HAAT and failed miserably. If your guild isn't working on p3 teams already you won't make it.

Curious. For the sake of comparison, what's your guild's GP? We're at 55M now, but usually have ~44M raiding. And we also clear NAAT in about that much time.

The first part of this isn't entirely correct...Sidious can survive if you run Ewok Elder instead of Boba. Between the Elder clearing DOTs and Shaman's healing during topple, Sidious can survive unless you get bad RNG. Obviously you take a hit in damage without Boba's Execute, but it's an alternative if you don't want to drop the zeta.

For P3, all you need is a single Zavage in the guild to clear. Two Zavages in the guild can solo P1 and P3 respectively, so all you really need are P2 and P4 squads.

@Calx G8 characters get wrecked in Heroic...they also have trouble landing debuffs and almost never resist debuffs. Even with stellar mods, it's an uphill battle.
  • @Calx our GP is 75ish right now. I think our GP was around 60 when it became a stat, and we were already clearing HAAT without coordinating damage. I'd guess it was right around 50-55 when we first made it.

P3 was our trouble spot. We have a couple zavages, but they say it's not an easy time. Most run tie/chirpatine. And yes, I'd say g10 and up is pretty much required if you want to do decent damage.

The problem with Savage p3 solos is not that it's difficult, but that it's very, very slow.

Savage can hit Grievous repeatedly and ignore the other droids on p1. But on p3 he needs to keep all of the additional droids below 50% health and stomp any of them that get buffed, so it minimizes the number of times he can afford to hit the B2 Rocket Droid. So for each battle attempt, he just doesn't get a chance to do very much damage before he needs to escape.
