I was under the impression that when health% are equalized, no health is lost or gained.
To do that one would simply add all the max health, add current totals, see what % the latter is of the former, then give all participants that % of their current max health bar.
If it just looked at % it could increase overall health if the low % is the highest max health or decrease it if it is the lowest max health.
