Youre supposed to be able to do it with five 4-star rebel ships. Yeah right!!!Ive got 2 6-star and 3 5-star and im not even coming close to beating this. It feels like i should have beaten it by now. I’ve earned it. This is so anticlimactic and upsetting and bad.I need to upgrade home one for the chimaera event and youre not allowing it to happen. The enemies ships are not four star. Theres no way in the universe. Plus they have at least six ships (at least 3 reinforcements).This whole thing is ridiculous, just give my Home One shards already! Six star Wedge is still weak sauce by the way. Five star U-Wing isn’t much different. Do I really need to get everyone to Tier IX Gear to have a chance or something? Absolutely ridiculous! Doesn’t follow the flow of the game and progression. A huge uneccessary road block on Progress Avenue. Seriously, what are you guys thinking?!

i’ve found it to be easier since ships 2.0 came out, it was tougher before the rework

When it comes to ships gear level of pilots is just as important as star level of ships. Don't expect to beat it just because you have 5 7* ships all with gear 1 pilots. Take a step back, calm down, focus on gearing your pilots then try again. At the end of the day it's a game. This is a game of patience, the chimaera event will be back sooner than you realize, don't worry.

g9 isisnt considered high at this point in time in the game.and yes u need higher geared pilots so ur ships are better, since you are at a number disadvantage!

Made the comment more accurate. The pilot's stats are simply of higher priority. The ship star count only modifies the power of the pilot. I think there should be closer to a 50/50 split rather than the current 85-15 or 90-10 pilot/ship relationship.

I just unlocked Chimaera with only 3 fighters, no reinforcements, LOL! I don't recall Tier IV Home One being much harder.

Endurance was harder because I didn't want to pour resources into that capital ship so I did it with a level 19 hunk of junk and Executrix was harder because my dark side fighter wing was lacking and I had to build it up just enough to win.

He says in his post that he needs to upgrade his home one so he can get the chimaera. My comment is saying that he should just take his time and work on upgrading his toons in the mean time. The chimaera event will be back around December most likely.

Everyone knows challenges are harder then they used to be in 2.0, everyone knows challenges require much stronger ships then they used to need to complete now, this is old news. Challenges just need stronger ships then you should need for the challenge, not much more to say unless CG does something about it, its already been stated all over that challenges should be made easier ie what they used to be.. but again

its all about the devs actions on this, just again be glad they did at least change the starter challenges to be possible for new players who just entered ships, compared to before in 2.0 when new players entered ships and all challenges were actually impossible
