How do you grind gear?

I believe it's been shown that refreshing is best, but I still often like to just buy outright with crystals.

One sim at a time

I push button. Gear is then given to me.

I buy kyros, golden eyeballs and mk3 holo projectors with crystals. Everything else is farmed with energy or other currencies. If I am close on upgrading a gear level...I might buy the last thing. Especially if I have been drinking.

I grind gear because I have to, but doing so really grinds my gears.

Certain gear pieces are better to buy, or are at least nearly equivalent to farming.

I refresh shipments until the piece I want comes up.

For kyros I farm 25 and buy 25. Eyeballs I will accumulate as I see in stores and will buy 25 if I am at 25 or higher and need the gear.

Farm by refreshing for pretty much all else. I do think it is the more cost effective method, but it takes patience.

I buy stun guns, the others I farm with energy or currency (I don't need as much kyros right now so I have enough with the daily challenges)
