depends. if it's low gear, 2 at a time should get you one, but if you need a lot then doing 3 can yield 2 or more. If it's higher gear 2 is fine, but three can be more reliable, but also more upsetting if you get 0. if it's a 5-limit then 5 at a time seems to be best (like a hard node for ex). cantina 2-3 like above is best. obviously never sim more than 3 at a time except the 5's mentioned above, and mod slicing/relic mats which should be done at max. at least for me this works best. hope that helps!
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response was there anything that could even be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Drop rates are the same regardless of the number of sim attempts."DarkHelmet;c-2044903" wrote:

Whoa whoa, DarkHelmet. The part of the story I don't like is that the little boy gave up looking for shards after an hour. He didn't sim correctly or anything, he just sat on the porch like a goon and waited. That little boy's gotta think 'You got a toon. You got a responsibility.' If your toon is 6* you don't look for an hour then call it quits. You get your self out there and you find those freaking shards.
ps no duh lol- AttilatheStunSeasoned NewcomerCertain gear pieces are better to buy, or are at least nearly equivalent to farming.

The link goes to a tool that will tell you whether it’s better to buy or farm. - I refresh shipments until the piece I want comes up.
- Miketo28Rising NoviceFor kyros I farm 25 and buy 25. Eyeballs I will accumulate as I see in stores and will buy 25 if I am at 25 or higher and need the gear.
Farm by refreshing for pretty much all else. I do think it is the more cost effective method, but it takes patience. - I buy stun guns, the others I farm with energy or currency (I don't need as much kyros right now so I have enough with the daily challenges)
- I grind gear like a boss.
- I buy whatever gear I need unless it's on like a 6 energy node.
- DaarthBrewerSeasoned NoviceI only buy gear with crystals if there's a timed event I am trying to beat. Mainly comes from shard shop or guild store. Refresh energy to get kyros.
- Nm, misread
