How many years now have the GAC rankings been broken?

Has CG ever said why they won’t or can’t fix the rankings so players from lower levels don’t get vaulted up to the top of K1 for doing nothing? 60% of the top 50 in K1 are small or zombie accounts. ...

It all went wrong when they realised they were squishing K1 - K3 too heavily. I think they didn't take into account that K1 can't be promoted, thus more divisions get negative squish in Kyber than positive. Once they fixed the formula, we started to get these anomalies.

New GAC started pretty much at the start of 2022. My Google AI is stating that they changed the squish formula near the end of 2023. The small accounts in Kyber issue started not long afterwards.
