@Cloud24 I think there's some good info on your post, with the exception of not doing any proper zeta farming from fleet shipments :-P
It works so long as you're a players that's been playing the game for 18 months+. what about the shard shop effects for newer players? getting gear is harder now more than ever, especially with all new character releases requiring you to farm toons for legendary requirements.
What happens when another thrawn event comes along? ignore chopper from cantina? ezra/hera? zeb from GW etc. did you not spend your cantina refreshes on acquiring CHS shards for TB?
In theory your post makes a lot of sense but in theory I'm not sure how practical it is to use this method for farming gear when every toon release has you farming toons that they want you to farm.
gear in fleet was the best way for newer players to get gear, especially when they weren't on zeta farming at that point.
