CG has instead chosen to simply make a few teams and modifiers more difficult and pretty much left everything else the same. While I agree, it is quickly becoming boring and tedious, CG has clearly no inclination to improve it - at least not quickly.
Didn't we see the bosses change?
If you judge by time, I guess you could say not quickly, but if you judge by number of events we did see the boss change fairly quickly. With using this to release characters, I would guess we will see changes each new toon, which could be as quick as 3 Conquest per.
Bosses changed only once so far. We don't know how/if they are going to change in the next Conquest - the last two sectors were always a pair of GLs but now we are missing one. I wouldn't be surprised if the bosses didn't change until the upcoming DS GL is released.
It would be cool if they used Conquest as a character reveal but I doubt that's going to happen since we always get the requirements before the kit reveal.
