I am doing the F2P route as well, and it will be interesting to see if I do get the toon to GL12 at the end and having saved some Kyros in the process, to spend on my remaining GL12->13 instead.
In the past, I already brought all toons immediately to GL12 and Zetas directly from the marquees. I am not short on those resources. The only hold up was the stars, and I'm not sure how this will be different under the new system.
I'm not going to yell at them though. At worst, it's the same with more optional steps. I will see.
