I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I bought it because (as I said--small raise, treat yourself, etc, but also) I've played very nearly four years and haven't spent much. So I can support the game by picking up this bundle and get some hefty gear.

I don't think it's a purchase everyone needs to make. There's a lot of folks who don't want to buy anything at all, that's totally fine! But if you can spare it, and there's nothing else in particular you want to do with that hundred bucks, it's a good value! And it gets that "Special Offer" icon off your screen!
