Nobody is forced to buy it since everyone can do the long run with patience and focus. This Hyper thing is obviously a business item and are designed for those who wants to shortcut evolution.
I know who would never spend those amount in a mobile game but just remember that there are/were people out there who spend 500 to max a single marquee with packs so... all kind of wallets and ways to play this kind of games.
