IG-100 is this droid worth the time for a droid team?

B2 is a game changer. Get him ahead of 100. That doesn't mean you should never use 100; but B2 is definitely, definitely better.

B2 is useful outside of a droid team, so he's the obvious choice.

Ig100 is a great addition and definitely worth the effort.

Rex's tenacity buff, RG's defense buff and taunt, Sun Fac's taunt, Lando's 2x buff needed to daisy chain his damage--all that stuff goes out the window when I'm facing B2. He's quite an annoying opponent.

This thread should be closed because all the information you need for the decision is here. Get them both, but start with B2. Max them both.
