Simple: You don't. Why is everyone thinking that you need to catch up on players being there for years? You have your own enemies to fight with - other new players. You can still be competitive even on low end, there's just no need to target veterans except when in your own mind "being competitive" means "making everyone lose no matter how long they have played or how much
Everyone is thinking that because CG made it so by throwing every player together, new and old. Before you always could reach Kyber and feel accomplished and get the rewards, now you know you will never reach Kyber as a new player and you will never get the rewards. The main reason people want to climb now is because CG made it our crystal source. And the lower you are the lower your rewards are. So yes people don't enjoy to be stuck on the low end and watch the gap getting bigger and bigger because the accounts above you grow faster because they get more crystals.
This is exactly what the other person meant when they said there has to be incentive for new players and at the moment it is lacking.
You seem to forget that all players now get at least 55 crystals per day for basically doing nothing, before you had to be in arena top 50 to get 50 crystals. Newer players are in a way better spot than ever especially with the double drop rates and free gear every day for completing daily quests.
Sure, higher accounts will get more and grow faster but you're already in a way better spot every newby has ever been when you unlock GAC. From there it's up to you what you'll make out of it.
Yup, agreed. The only players that suffer from it are the new accounts that (under the old system) would get first in SA and get 500 crystals daily. They now lose out on a chunk of those simple due to being in a low league. But the majority of the new players still benefits from it, as they get way more crystals through daily GAC rewards and win/end of round rewards than they'd ever get from finishing at like rank 100 in SA. It's only a very small minority of new players that are ACTUALLY losing out.
Sure, the Kyber players still get more, but catching up to veterans was never in the cards for new players anyway, unless they spend unholy amounts of money. I still don't even understand why there is even a need to catch up. New players always fight other new players in the arenas, will usually be in a very low-level guild with other new players, and will mostly face other new players in GAC. Just play the game and progress at your own pace, and have fun with it. The only thing that trying to catch up to veterans does is causing headaches for yourself. Do yourself a favor and stop thinking about catching the 9M guy that started playing 6 years ago. "Skipping" progress isn't a thing. You need to put effort into it just like we did when we started out. Just keep playing the game and one day you'll be that 9M guy (maybe, lol).
