There are a great many things that are broken-ish about this game. This is not one of them.

I think his point is that the alphabet is out of order and CG isn’t helping the situation by going along with the idea that “E” should come before “F”

Is this a joke? Yah technically it's located slightly before the E node but that's because the path goes that way. It's still in alphabetical order according to the path. Find something real to complain about there's plenty of other things. Like losing your buttons in phase 4 of the tank like I did the other day.
