Incompetence at best, calculated malice at worst

I think the worst thing about the era challenge is how pointless it is. There is no beating higher levels through tactics, or even luck. You either have the necessary era level to beat it, or you don't. If they just handed out rewards based on that, the result would be exactly the same and they would save everyone's time.
And as an added insult, we get locked out of the quests. This is really exceptional failure in this whole failed update.

Just more reason Disney needs to take their IP from EA and re-open Lucas Arts and have the heir own gaming department.  Remember titles like Monkey Island and X-Wing and Tie Fighter.  

A bad miserable pile of bantha dung sounds quite appetising compared to what we've been served up.

Ahnald has released a video on youtube a few hours ago where he has spent $400 getting his Luke to level 70, and even that isn't enough to clear all 6 tiers of the era challenge, he is stuck at tier 5!

If I found out I had contracted cancer today it would probably cheer me up compared to this game.

They just added an extra feat. Meaning the next challenge should allow us to complete the episode quest.

It genuinely feels like they are actively punishing the players at this point. They just keep releasing more things that are blatantly anti player and trying to mask it as being a positive. The few positives that came from this update are so overshadowed at this point that it’s tough to even mention them because we are getting so beaten down by this studio now. 

Predatory games do predatory things.  everything about this game is designed to be predatory.  the only difference with the Era stuff is they are being more overt about it.  

I want to enjoy this game, but EVERYTHING about these last few updates have been anti-new-player, I'm not 'new' anymore but I'm just a little over 2m gp.

I love the characters & the gameplay, but the monetization system is horrible on top of HEAVY investment for any single galactic legend that also locks out half the grind of the game for f2p.

there are still little areas where I find fun in the game but by far the era challenges are the worst offender, surprisingly I dont hate coliseum (since after leveling a few times you will make noticeable progress in it)

Dont forget to mention the hackers on the leaderboard. 

Episode pass felt like this, there was uproar then and they semi adjusted it, they're desperate to force a cash wall event on us that halts all progress. 

Im very similar to the OP In terms of spending, but they're getting zero from me until this mess is sorted.

Also on Android, and also have horrific garbage stuttering game play, mai ly NS, Inquisitor, phoenix and leviathan 

Quite bluntly between balancing, bugs, and entertainment I am just straight up insulted by this update that it was released to the public. I am not gonna pretend the game was perfect before but holy was it better then this.

I’ve tried and tried but I’ve run out of patience with coliseum/era. If the game mode was at least fun I could tolerate it. But it’s just greed to rip people off. Really sad stuff…..
