I second this. I'm only two months into the game tho. The different teams and strategies I get to try is awesome. I figure the further I progress, the more characters I unlock, the more team comps I get to try. I do my best at arena too, but that's only 5 battles a day and I have to time them properly which isn't always convienent with work/kids/chores. GW is something I can whittle away at as I have time. Only the three or four tough battles require multiple retreats and time.
With arena, I have fallen out of the top fifty, but there is such a long range in payout tiers that when the guild activity is PVP, my arena payout is 30 min after so that one day each week I lose massive ground and due to the cool down time between arena battles, I can only fight 3 of my five to regain ground and I don't always win those. Yesterday was that day so I will have to spend my next 10 PVP battles trying to get back in. I do agree that the competitiveness of arena is awesome tho.
