Well let's look at 'the code' and see if your argument stands up.
The right to parley - Anybody can request a meeting: This one definitely doesn't stand up. They don't tell us anything, and if you try to use in game support to request a meeting you get the run around. 0-1 to the code.
Division of spoils - Booty is shared out between the crew: This one also doesn't stand up. Booty is shared out to those that pay the most and a few crumbs filter down. 0-2 to the code.
Marooning protocols - If left behind, a pirate is provided with a bottle of water, a loaf of bread and a pistol with one shot. If a player isn't active in GAC, they are left behind in Carbonite and provided with Carbonite booty. OK, yeah that stands up. The code is fighting back 1-2.
Conduct - Betrayal is punishable by death (if caught): Cheating is punishable by having your account erased (if caught). Hmmm the code is starting to look stronger! 2-2.
Punishment - Fighting between pirates is forbidden: We're encouraged to fight each other in GAC, Arena and TW. Any underhanded (or piratey way) is allowed. Even though it's the pirates' way.....the code still doesn't stand up here. 2-3, the code is left behind once more.
Discipline - Gambling is prohibited: Well, the code and Jack really aren't looking strong now. The whole selling of packs strategy is gambling....ask Belgium and Brazil. 2-4 against the code.
The Pirate King - Elected by the 9 Pirate Lords: The CG King, some guy that doesn't understand the game, but does understand how to get money out of a stone. 2-5 against the code.
Sorry, I don't think it's Jack.
