Well, discussions like this thread and several others would not exist if this problem did not exist. That should be proof enough....
But nonetheless, it happens often enough that after my guild loses two TWs, we are assigned a “weak” opponent who brings significantly fewer GP into the match (as it should be), but then turns out to be a completely overpowered guild with only 35 people.
The TW system is broken for higher levels. And rewards haven't been up to date for a long time. Reroll mats are the only thing interesting about it.
These threads exist because players want to win more and blame the game or other players when they do not. It is not proof of an actual problem which needs fixing.
Higher reward tiers would be welcomed, we would actually get more even with just 43 players this time.
BTW our opponent was even tougher than us. So please tell me how “sandbagging” and allowing 7 players to sit out because of RL fixes our matches so we always win.
This is just a losing conspiracy and much better to focus on your guilds activity and TW readiness if you want to win more. Or focus on other modes with more ROI.

And that sounds something a conspiracy theorist says. If I call something ridiculous I agree with it? Just think about how ridiculous that is, or am I agreeing with you. Should I say that actually makes sense so you know I disagree with you 😂.

No one here is talking about conspiracies except one person. It's a game, nothing more. And it would be extremely illogical not trying to exploit poorly designed game mechanics in such a setting. However, I find it illogical to deny that this is the case. 🤷♂️
