If your roster is young and growing less than at least 7 million GP all your availiable resources should be going into catching up - farming Galactic Legends, building your mod inventory, working on teams for Territory Wars and Territory Battles.
Conquest chasing is really for the folks with established rosters and nothing else to do without something new to push for.
