They can ban accounts that are running 3rd party sites on their phones/computers, such as LINE and discord, but that would be such a whack-a-mole game there’s no way they’d do that. Far too many ways for shardmates to communicate outside the game. Also I see zero incentive for CG to do that.
Not to mention people use those sites for so much more than shard chats, which is good for the game.
