I believe that auto-clickers breach the ToS of any large games company. EA have a rule regarding 3rd party programmes that automate gameplay.
For opening Bronzium packs...it's definitely not even worth considering. If caught, it wouldn't result in a warning, it would result in the account's termination.
By that argument, everyone using Hotutils to do anything is against ToS
Shouldn't be an issue. Don't see why it would violate anything.
I believe harvestmouse1 is right... I wouldn't do it if I were you.
You’re fine to use it. I’ve never heard of anyone getting in trouble in using one and I’ve been around since the beginning
I don't know enough on the subject to form one side of an argument. I definitely wouldn't do it myself, but if these guys are saying it's OK then it must be OK.
I've used an auto-clicker for that purpose for many years. It didn't even occur to me that it would be a problem. I seriously doubt they would take action against customers (even potential customers) for this purpose, it would make zero sense on their end
I remember being told long ago that it was against the ToS but I can’t recall if it was official or hearsay. I know it’s not uncommon to use one and imho it wouldn’t merit serious punishment but then again how often do we see people on the boards saying they were banned and swearing up and down they would not could not did not cheat but can’t get reinstated? It just occurred to me that if it does violate the ToS CG probably would ban for it and people who got banned probably wouldn’t even think of it as a reason. Personally I just open a dozen or two every so often when I’m bored. It’s nostalgic to remember back to when hitting unlock shards was exciting and meaningful to me. It’s definitely not worth risking a ban over some shard shop currency I already have a ton of.
