It’s not just the bugs… it’s how this is being handled

I do appreciate that you gathered all the reported issues into a single update instead of leaving everything scattered across different posts. Having one place to see what’s being tracked is helpful.

But I think the frustration isn’t just that bugs happened. It’s how many things went wrong at once, and how some of them are being handled.

We’ve got:

  • Era materials not converting
  • Players blocked from marquee progress
  • Missing Signal Data
  • Omis costing double
  • Units not usable in Journey Guide
  • Webstore / Episode Pass issues
  • Anniversary quests not being added and just getting pushed back

That’s a rough start to an Era.

The Zerek module issue is the one that really stands out. Saying it’s known but won’t be hotfixed — and will just be fixed for the end of the Era — basically reads like this Era’s players just have to eat it and be happy it’s being looked at for next time.

And this isn’t about something we might earn later. We already HAD those modules. We already EARNED them. They were rewards sitting in our inventory that were SUPPOSED to convert at the end of the Era.

This isn’t about a promised reward. It’s not about “you could have gotten this.” It’s about something players ALREADY OWNED and then didn’t receive proper value for when conversion happened.

Even if the amount per player isn’t huge, that’s not really the point. In a progression-heavy, time-gated game, every earned resource matters. When something we already had and worked for doesn’t convert properly and the response is essentially “we’ll fix it next time,” it can feel like the current loss just isn’t important enough to address.

The Anniversary quest situation feels similar. Instead of resolving it directly, it just gets pushed back a week. That doesn’t really feel like a fix — it feels like shifting it forward and hoping it smooths over on its own. For time-gated content, that matters.

And honestly, the tone of the update doesn’t help. It doesn’t really feel like there’s much acknowledgment of how frustrating this is for players — more like a checklist of issues and a hope that they’ll blow over until the next Era. Even just a clearer “we’re sorry this impacted your progression” would go a long way.

This all hits harder because the game is clearly leaning further into expensive, time-gated systems. Episode Passes, Era currencies, limited windows — everything feels tighter and more monetized. When players are being asked to invest more time and real money into these systems, stability and urgency matter more than ever.

If the direction is higher cost and stricter time gates, then the expectation becomes higher polish and faster correction when things go wrong. Otherwise it feels like players are absorbing the downside while the monetization keeps ramping up.

This isn’t about attacking anyone. It’s about trust. Right now it just feels shaky.
