The idea that a salvage piece that people once had thousands of has become such a big gear crunch for so many players is ridiculous. Has CG ever answered a question about them specifically in any Q&A...

Yes, exactly. I still have over 3.200 of those. I grew over 300k to almost 4,5 million GP since i saw a thread about this theme months ago. So what in the galaxy are you doing? Are you eating them, don't do any events and avoid to get them at all cost just to make these complain threads? I don't get it..

You're welcome. And my value to this conversation is just a question: How comes that other players don't have these problems even if they upgrade a lot? Yes, i may upgrade other toons. But i don't buy it that you used literally thousands of those golden eyes on toons that are somewhat useful. To be more specific: I don't believe you ever had a lot of them which means you're either not playing that long or never participated in events where you can get those. The first one is a matter of time like for every other gear so work to it as everyone else did. The second one is your own fault.
You're not upgrading a lot...
300k in a few months? I have gone up 300k since last GAC, no whaling.

You're either lucky or purposely not upgrading all the very good toons that need them. I don't make complain threads, it is what it is, but I'm 4.5m and I have 110 of these things.
You need a total of 168 fully crafted eye pieces in the whole game by now. I've used 55 in total and could craft another 63 if i would have the related salvage. That's 118 out of 168, the remaining 50 are on toons that are most likely never useful. So i'm done with eyes for my entire SWGoH career right now. So even if i had upgraded all the useful toons who need this gear my storage may be depleted but i wouldn't need much more of it if any. So what am i doing wrong that i'm not craving for that stuff?
Look at my roster and point out the ones I've wasted.
