I'm quite happy with it now. Yes, playing it isnt fun but now we've progressed and can get to the final level the rewards are great for r10 mats. That and the raid mean I'm now getting 2 x the hard to get r10 mats and perhaps 3 this month.
Yep, next era will be a reset but perserving with it has definitely had its rewards.
The rewards aren't great. You only get them if you pay more than your opponents. CG purposefully gated them behind the Coliseum mode to make you essentially get into a bidding war with your shard for them. My rewards are next to nothing because I didnt dump money into leveling my toons. Even when it first started and only Luke was out, I bought the episode pass, some packs of his shards, and some gear, only to be in the lower 200+ in my shard because i didnt have enough disposable cystals.
