They announced it’s going to be an armored Gideon already… there’s no need to guess.

“Does new stronger Gideon mean new Character or a Rework?
New character coming to a Conquest near you”

So it is this one or the next?

I think everyone (myself included) is assuming it's the next one coming, but afaik they've never explicitly stated that anywhere.

That is the reasonable thing to expect. Then again, weirder things have happened than a cg statement that turns out to mean something other than the most reasonable interpretation
