So the topic says it all. I've been playing this game for a year and just today discovered "Allies" when someone sent me an invite. So how exactly did someone invite me and how do I start inviting oth...

Not all is lost. Are you Android or iOS? Do you have another device available that's never had this game installed on? You could play the tutorial on a new device, then set your age (over 13). Then log into Google Play (there's an app for that) or Game Center in iOS. Make sure you're not logged into either before installing the game. This will bring your account back, and MIGHT give you the new age options (chat and name change option).
