Galactic Legends Ls-/Ds-ticket grind and how it affects the flow of unlocks
The Lightside and Darkside tickets for GL unlocks needs to go. I get the initial timegate when they first added GLs, but these days I think it's too much. I've grinded for GL Ahsoka for months, and geared Plo Koon to Relic 8. This, I think, is enough of a gate regarding time, resources and money.
I think it could still serve a purpose for ultimate materials, where you get to know your character without the ult, and makes you feel the power-up when you get it. I feel this is a good compromise where EA still "gets their dues" but in a way thats more enjoyable from the players perspective.
Returning to the issue at hand. For the character unlock it entirely of deflates the hype. I had forgotten that it was a step in the process of unlocking a GL. And such, as I upgraded the final relic level of my Plo, I was very happy as I headed to the journey tab to get my hard earned Ahsoka. It killed my hype entirely that it was gated by another 3-7 days or my wallet.
Please consider putting this relic of the past, in the past, for a more enjoyable farming curve.
